Fellowship of the Glowstick

This weekend we took Jackson to Krypton and when were on the hologram tour he snagged one of those ice-thingys when we weren't looking. Krypton's not as cool as you might think.
ISO 6400. Pitch black. Auto white balance.

  2. i love single source lighting. shooting night photography really was what got me hooked on photo. how was the focus on that? i can't tell on my monitor if jackson's face or hand is the focus point?

  3. Um, yeah, the focus was super good. I actually had to focus on the lightstick, but if you've ever told a 2-year old to "stay still," well, there might be some motion blur. Aside from the sharpness, I really like the natural blue monotone. If I were a fish swimming by one of those scary luminescent fish on the ocean floor, I'd totally get eaten 'cause I like shiny stuff.

  4. you should sell all your lighting equipment and buy another mkii and just shoot available light from now on. i too like the single source. well done, rad.

  5. You should just wear glow sticks around your neck and wrists when shooting weddings. You wouldn't need a flash anymore, think of the posibilities...
