Eternal Perspective

I had been talking with this pilot, Mark Hogland, about maybe doing some aerial photo work with him. The evening these photos were taken the engine never started and we had planned to reschedule our coastal tour. I just heard this morning that his plane crashed last weekend in the hills of Catalina, killing himself and 2 passengers. I didn't know him well, but it's still such a profound feeling to be confronted with eternity.
Here's a link to the story:

  1. Heavy. What an eerie reminder of the reality that our own life is just as fragile and can be taken just as easily. My prayers go out to the family and friends of all 3 victims who must be going through a pretty rough time right now.
