35mm vs. 600mm (Critique)

Miah and I shot one of the contestants in a local dance competition/fundraiser last week. We broke out the 600mm for some portraits...just because. Notice how compressed the background becomes vs the 35mm perspective. So, is there a place for the big daddy in the world of portraiture?

    WOuld be interested in a side by side with a 70-200 @ 200 and the 600.
    Not sure if there would be "much" noticeable difference. Would be cool to test. Quick Click Clinic?

    Fantastic Rod, The subtle fill is oh so sweet on the 600. I think the 600 makes them look shorter, less stretching than the 35. Fun shoot it was...
