I've found myself halfway enjoying the least artistic segment of photography...the grey backdrop headshot. As simple and boring as it may be, the challenge to get it right keeps me intrigued. Here's a snapshot of my work-in-progress 3-light setup.
It was fun renting the 17 ts lens from borrowlenses.com. I wasn't sure what to expect with 17 being so wide but it did well in weddings, fashion and personal fun. Below are some samples from my 10 day trial. It seems like Canon's new line of lenses sink perfect with the 5d mark 2. I can't wait for the rumored Feb 9th announcement of more Canon glass.
